The PvP Season is an event which will be held once every 2 months, which will grant players a Title after certain kills in the effective season. The Title will be awarded after the season ends and will be usable for the next season.
Titles can be gained from killing anyone at the designated pvp maps in ROigin, and those kills will be called honorable kills. After a player's kills has reached a certain amount, then a Title will be awarded and may be used after the season ends. The Title achieved from the last season will only be usable in the new season, where Title and honorable kills will be reset everytime a new season starts.
There are special Titles and a Prize which are only exclusive for the Top 3 killers, who have earned at least
[Gladiator] Title, or has honorable kills more than
1,000. So, only
three of the best
[Gladiator]s will be awarded by the special Title and prize. If
nobody can fulfill the requirements, then no prize nor special Title will be awarded in that season.
The Title can be enabled / disabled via NPC at Home 114 158.
Players can see their record of their honorable kills for that season and their Title they have unlocked. However the Title will not be usable until the season ends. The NPC will only display maximum of 1,000 honorable kills. So, no one can see how many they have achieved beyond 1,000 kills to maximize the competition, if you wish to know how many kills you've made then you have to wait until the end of the season. After the season ends, then the NPC will announce the 3 best
[Gladiator]s and the total of the player's kills for that season. Any dead in the designated PvP Maps will
reduce the character's honorable kills by
1.
Enabling or disabling Title will relog invoking player for the Title to take effect, because it changes a character's name to
[Title]Name.
Example:
Char Name: Rheia
Title: [Gladiator]
Talk to the NPC to enable the Title, then the Character Name will change to
[Gladiator]Rheia. Talk to the NPC again to disable it and the Name will be changed back to Rheia.
When the Title is enabled, the player will not be able to be whispered (PM) with Rheia as the target name because it will be changed to [Gladiator]Rheia, so the whispering player will have to type [Gladiator]Rheia in order to whisper.
What if you don't know which title the target player is currently on? That's where the
@who command comes in.
Type @who Rheia or simply @who rhe to display any character who has 'rhe' in their name and you will be able to see the name of the player you would like to whisper with his/her Title.
